The Twitter client that redefined Twitter clients is back, and it's even better. Rewritten from the ground up with a fast and powerful new core, Tweetie 2 offers the most polished mobile Twitter experience around.

Still a tweetdeck user, didn't really get on with Tweetie v.1 and I'm reluctant to pay for this version to see if I'll like it.
Why no free trial . . . .

Awesome UI, very nicely laid out and easy to use. I had a little dig about having to buy the app all over again but after using it for a few weeks, I can really appreciate the amount of work that has gone into this. Congrats to Atebits.

Excellent twitter app, best so far. Tweetdeck just didn't do it for me.

I used Tweetie but switched to Twiiterfon (no called echofon). Tweetie is solid, though especially with Tweetie 2

The original Tweetie was the best iPhone app ever. And Tweetie 2 trumps it.

I'm a new but unexcited Twitter user (I'm not much of a narcissist). I first tried Tweetie so I could tweet pictures remotely and then have them automatically uploaded to Facebook. Quickly with Tweetie I but found it limited to the sites my pics could upload to (I like TwitGoo). Enter Tweetie 2, so far I like the versatility and more robust app. Who knows, maybe I turn into an exited Twitter user... or maybe not.

@dericknwq Still hooked on Twitterific's interface. Nice and simple website by the way. So what's the next App? :p

Tweetie is pretty awesome. Definitely one of the best Twitter clients on any platform.

Tweetie was the best twitter client originally and tweetie 2 tops that with its brilliant user interface and huge feature set

Tweetie is such a well written and easy to use app. Apple should take note of some of the UI elements. IE: drag down to refresh, this would be perfect for Mail.

You're kidding me. "App of the Day" brings up Tweetie 2? I've already heard of that one... so have most iPhone users (I'm pretty sure on that one).
Anything I haven't heard of bubbling up?

I like tweetie but SimplyTweet gives it a serious run for it's money. Push notifications are nice!

i nominated twitbird lite. why? unique features and free. i think you should have "app of the day free" and "app of the day paid." that would be cool. tweetie is the best overall (yes, as someone said, on any platform), but twitbird lite is next, and it does things tweetie doesn't. s

Tweetie2 is great and has taken over as #1 Twitter App on my iPhone 3GS. The HI is brilliant and functionality is smooth. Great app!! A must have for twitterfans!!

It's great and I used it daily...but I am hoping App of the Day shines light on some under publicized apps. Tweetie 2 has been at the top of the charts for a few weeks.

Once they build in a Lists feature, like Tweetdeck, then I'll give it the highest recommendation - although I wonder how it will change since Twitter is incorporating Lists into the service officially.

I've been using Birdfeed after trying several and disliking most. I haven't been able to see what Tweetie has going for it based on screenshots, but I may have to give it a try.
